In 1967, an English policeman called Peter Moscardi gave a friend the telephone number of his police station - 40166 - but unknown to him, he had accidentally given the wrong number. Whilst on duty a few days later, Mr Moscardi discovered a factory which had been left unlocked with all the lights blazing, and went inside to investigate. What happened next? The telephone rang and Moscardi answered it to find it was his friend calling him on the wrong number. 40,166 had been stolen from the factory. The address of the factory turned out to be 40166 Richardson Place. None of these.
