In 1993, the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) included this aspect to the definition of AIDS: that anyone one with a T-cell count of less than two hundred had AIDS. After that definition was accepted by the medical world and put into practice, the number of AIDS patients increased by 100%. What does that mean? It means that those people who were previously AIDS-free, were now deemed to have AIDS, by default, all of a sudden! These people were consequently advised to start on ARVs. Question: Is HIV the only condition in a human body that reduces T-cell count? Think about that one...
