In 2000 Robert Grant started me on Enalapril for high blood - TopicsExpress

In 2000 Robert Grant started me on Enalapril for high blood pressure. Next in 2001 Phillip Marler put me on Synthroid for thyroid. I lived 50 years without requiring medication, so why then? After that, Metoprolol was added as a beta blocker and Enalcpril was replaced by Quinapril, an ace inhibitor. Then Furosemide, a diuretic, joined the daily regimen for high blood pressure. Along with a diuretic comes potassium. The above list is enlarged by Protonix for acid reflux. Most recently Chlorthalidone, another diuretic that takes all salt out of the body, replaced Fursemide. (I still use Furosemide when swollen) Because of this change my Potassium has been raised from 10mg to 30mg per day. Now from taking all this medicine, I have: GERD Disease Hypertension Chronic Kidney Disease Stage III Asthma Chronic Bronchitis Hypothyroid Disease and Sinusitis I am allergic to most antibiotics. My Cardiologist performed a simple procedure by going up through the fermoral artery checking for blockage. None was found, only that my veins and arteries were really tiny, causing high blood pressure. Before the meds I rode a bicycle everywhere and had great muscle mass. I have gained 100 pounds and my muscle mass has atrofied. Am I going to let them win? HELL NO. . . Ihave already taken myself off meds that I do not need. All of this can be reversed. If I die, think of all the people who will be happy!
