Did you know that most growers get paid $0.21 per conventional chicken (the kind found in grocery stores), and that most conventional chickens are fed narasin, bacitrasin and other weight-enhancing additives that also cause leg weakness, paralysis and DEATH in these birds? Also, conventional chickens are raised largely in environments where there is no natural air or sunlight, is surrounded by feces AND contains airborne ammonia and other contaminants, while non-conventional birds live in pastures and are therefore far healthier?!
