In 2011, I came to realize that I had a much greater purpose than the title on my business card. I came to understand my life in a way that is (now) far more meaningful than all the insignificant meetings I had ever attended in my corporate life, most of which were driven by ego minds gathering around boardroom tables, including myself, may I add, trying to make sense of utter BS, quite frankly. Then there were the people in your life that were competing with you on every material level, which in turn meant I was competing as well. Time consuming it was and in the end it only brings more suffering. However, without that experience I could never pursue this very moment. Many of you may know or remember me as a driven and confident individual. A person with great courage perhaps or “knows what she wants”. No, that was actually not true. Confidence can only be reached when you don’t care what others think of you, when you make up the minority and don’t have to fit the status quo. When you can stand up and say “please qualify what you are saying”, when you can become conscious at every moment. You see, I wanted to fit in with everyone else all along knowing that I was going against my core beliefs. I had an epiphany in 2011, 3 hours after my second son Oscar was born and pursued my dream to become a writer which was the beginning of a magical journey full of knowledge and research into science, ancient wisdom, geometry and the truth of who I am . Well thousands of hours later and may I add staying up until 3.00 / 4.00 am in the mornings, I have developed more than the books I have now published. I developed a website, iPhone App and membership program to give other people this information in a way that I knew would be well received. I knew that if I was determined to figure it out then so many others were too. So many people want to live an amazing life yet so many are suffering. I soon learned that this was not reality, yet we all believe in our fears and just don’t know how to get out of it. NO self help book will ever reveal the information I learned and applied. I have met famous authors and leading entrepreneurs in their field during this time and that has been a blessing. I am sharing the following on my FB because after all isn’t that what FB is all about. Last month my dream came true. I was invited to Awesomeness Fest 2013 in Bali where 200 people are invited out of thousands of applications from all around the globe. I am proud to be chosen because this is total validation of my purpose in life. My passion for personal development and digital combined has been a dream come true. Not many people can combine their passions and turn it into their life purpose. Awesomeness Fest brings together 200 people around the world who all contribute to humanity in some capacity. The people attending are well known in their field and the speakers are extremely well known and compete to get a spot at this conference. They range from Hollywood actors, musicians, humanitarians to personal development gurus. I am so proud to be attending to meet people from other parts of the world who are all pursuing their passions. It is an experience of a lifetime and to be chosen is just such an honour. I have learned so much but one thing I have learned is to ‘know thyself’, literally. I hope this post inspires everyone to pursue what they have always wanted to pursue.
