In America many different wars happened unimaginable battle grounds. The most unknown are the private sector where resources of this nation are extracted. The coal industry is a big one. Companies that developed a love of money on the backs of new immigrants and uneducated people have pushed people to unite in unions. Unions development has given the American worker more employment rights that had equalized wages, sick days, annual leaves, even grievances that often happen because of unfair practices between parties of admin and worker. Negotiations happen all across Union and companies these days. I messed up in the oil industry I got fired because I did not follow procedures developed by the company I worked for. I completely agree with the company for this that I messed up. I was brought into the office to explain why I did what I did. I found out why I was caught my coworker spoke up sure he was trained to do that by the company to speak up in situations that are not usual. This part I messed up I got angry and told my employer that I will watch that worker that told on me that if he messed up not following company policies I will tell on him. My immediate supervisor took notes of all that I said to rely that to higher ups that he has to report too. A chain reaction was set ablaze because of my tongue saying much on my part where I could have held my tongue and who knows I could have still been working in that company. They hit me up for insubordination against company policies which is true and right for them too do and for trying to repay the coworker back to tell on him. I would have never hurt my ex co worker I was just frustrated that someone else told on me. This is all behind me everyone that this drama happened with are all still friends of mine. There is two things that gave me a lesson follow the post marks set by companies follow your supervisors warnings and never try to repay back what someone else did against you and hold your tongue cause that sets the course of direction of what happens to you. Its hard to say careful words if you let your emotions get involved. My confessions of work maybe it will help someone.
