In Charless Stross ”Laundry Files”-novels, the british secret agency The Laundry is preparing for when the stars are right, - theyve named it CASE NIGHTMARE GREEN. But I wonder what will happen when the stars are right? There is a lot of different deities and supernatural creatures in the Cthulhu Mythos. They have a lot of different agendas – some even counter each others – so what will happen when the stars are right? Is it – based on the writing of Lovecraft and other - possible to take each of them, analyse their means and motives and figure what theyll do (and what effect it will have on mankind)? What would Cthulhu do? Nyarlothotep? Shub-Niggurath? Yog-Sothoth? The deep ones? The ghouls? The chtonians? Shudde Mell? Dagon? (BTW: I want a t-shirt with the text ”What Would Cthulhu Do?”)
