In Genesis, was a man and God. Man was the created, and God was the creator. Now think about how many people have desired to experience God, or know Him. Adam had that experience , many would die a thousand times over for. Adam had God, and God still felt it necessary for him not to be alone (Even though he Had GOD), and gave him woman, to be his companion. I dont know how people can say the Bible degrades women in conjunction with this interpretation of Genesis. As if God and Man wasnt enough, creation needed womanhood, needed a woman. If God thinks you can add a value that even He didnt add, I would take that as a compliment. ( Not saying God couldnt, just that he saw womanhood and women as fitting) :) Whoop
