In Hawaii particularly at one of the top tourists attractions, Hanauma Bay, few kilometers from downtown Honolulu, you will see many mongoose just few feet from the seashore. The government authorities intentionally imported the mongoose & have them multiply in many islands of the State of Hawaii. Thus, the tourists that are exploring, hiking, camping in the hills, mountains, & spending time on the beaches in Hawaii are much safer than those in the Philippines & other countries!
