Bruce Willis is no exception. He was on a Stinker streak from 1997-98 with such stinks as The Jackal, Mercury Rising, Armageddon & The Seige. Bruce Willis plays a rogue FBI agent who has a soft spot for kids. Willis is reassigned to protect Simon (Hughes), a booger eating autistic savant kid, who accidently deciphers a top secret super code in a puzzle magazine. The Director (Alec Baldwin) orders Simon executed in the name of National Security. Miko Hughes watched Dustin Hoffman’s Rain Man a thousand times to prepare for this role. He actually forgot to follow Kirk Lazarus’s golden rule from Tropic Thunder “Never Go Full Retard!”. His performance is downright awful & laughable. He was much better as Gage, the pint size killer, in The Pet Sematary. His bio on IMDB says he lives in Apple Valley, Ca but his permanent address is a dumpster in Oklahoma. You’ve been warned!!!
