In June of 2014 I contacted Chipotle of Chino Hills and set up our school fundraiser for October 8, 2014. A month prior to the fundraiser I contacted Andrea to confirm our date, at that time Andrea told me that we were all set-up & I would receive an email from the marketing department with the materials I needed for the day. A week prior to our fundraiser I contacted Andrea again to let her know I still had not received material for our fundraiser. She then asked me to resubmit my information to her & she would get me the material needed for our day. On Friday, October 3rd I went down to the Restaurant to express my concerns with Andrea & to let her know I still had not received anything from the corporate office for our fundraiser. She told me she was waiting for someone at corporate to get back to her but she was not sure if they would be able to get me the material in time. After receiving this disappointing news I called the corporate office and was told to send them an email with the information and someone would contact me. I am yet to receive a phone call or an email from corporate office. It is extremely disappointing to realize how poorly and unprofessional this company handles their business, after setting up the school fundraiser night back in June and advertising it via our web page, flyers, newsletter, banners and not to mention at our school faculty meetings and getting our teachers involved as well as to more than 500 families at our school; I received an email from Andrea the general manager of chipotle in chino hills on Tuesday, October 7th informing me they could no longer host our fundraiser on Wednesday, October 8th because they could not get me the marketing material in time. She then offered to host our fundraiser at a later date. The most important thing to all of us is the education of our children & due to financial cut backs to schools; we are left to raise funds in order to provide a well-rounded education for our students. We count on the support of business & families in our community to help reach our goals and the last thing we need our broken promises. I wanted to share our story because I would hate for this to happen to another school thats vested their time and effort to advertise this restaurant and trusted them.
