In Mrs. Hughes 11th-grade Advanced English class at Belton, Texas High School in 1980, I gave an oral presentation concluding that Huxleys Brave New World was just Bernards dream. On May 21, 1990, comedian Bob Newhart concluded his TV series Newhart with a scene showing that the entire series had been Dr. Bob Hartleys dream. Did I receive royalties? No, I did not. Now comes a new outrage: although I didnt see it, I understand that the popular TV series How I Met Your Mother concluded with a scene showing that the entire series had just been Dr. Doogie Howsers dream! When I was 17, I would of course have been thrilled by the idea that my concept would receive such currency. Now aged 50, however, I want to find a good intellectual property attorney. Maybe Stephan Kinsella can help me.
