In Paris, A Life-Sized T-Rex Has Been Spotted By The Seine River | 9Digg - What the web is talking about right now 9digg.org/in-paris-a-life-sized-t-rex-has-been-spotted-by-the-seine-river/ Impressive, larger-than-life installations—like this beloved giant rubber ducker—seem to be all the rage these days. French artist Philippe Pasqua has recently conceived of and finished constructing a chrome sculpture of a life-sized Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton that now towers over the Seine River. Made of 350 molded bones, the 3-by-6 meter sculpture depicts the T-Rex as the popular culture icon that it is today, complete with its massive head, powerful tail and sharp teeth. This pre-historic monster, shockingly out of place in charming Paris, would definitely be a hit with the camera-toting tourists—view more images of the sculpture below. [via Design Boom]
