In a class I am currently taking, we talked about reproductive technology today. With the technology today, you can pay a doctor to go inside of you and your partner and look at each egg and sperm, and determine which ones would create the healthiest baby and then they can be matched together in the womb to create this "perfect" child. We were then asked what our thoughts were on this, many of my classmates said that it was great because it will cause less birth defects, mental/health problems and disease in the world. I on the other hand, am strongly against this. As a Christian, I believe that God will create the perfect child inside the woman when she becomes pregnant. God gives us only what we can handle. Are we really going to turn from a natural process, like reproduction and turn into technology as well?
