In a country where, people are so quickly judged (hence civil rights) why are we unable to wait for due process to occur. Yes, I agree that if violence is to be curtailed within the NFL we as a community should recognize the warning signs and take action then...to wait and then the fire storm of innuendo, trial by fire occurs because we dont love on the individual, we love on the individuals ability to generate $, controversy or heresy, in the minds of all involved they will stand in their belief, but the facts are not the truth, and the truth is but a lie, until someone stands up and owns and professes their fall from grace. I myself cannot judge, the ultimate judge right now is public opinion, which will be far reaching...the discourse of the current events makes us reach in and dig deep about our own affairs. Judge only what you see, not what you here and wait on the process. Will people get away with it, yes...but the ultimate judge is soon to come. NFL will have two black eyes, just as baseball had before...Society must recognize that football is a brutal sport perpetuating violence. Are we really naive to think that players can turn that on/off. Violence begets violence.
