In a very unusual circumstance of the Margao town Police being very efficient in discharging this senior citizen, Mr. Dsilva from a private hospital, grace cardiac in Margao whilst this senior citizen was recovering in hospital for an operation he under went as he was suffering with his right foot infected with Gangarin. The Margao town Police based on a fictitious complaint made by the members of the society in the building where this senior citizen owns his apartment, stating that this senior citizen keeps leaving his gas on, endangering the lives of the residents in the building. This unauthorised discharge of this senior citizen from a private hospital was also done without the consent of the South Goa Collector nor the NGO Dadleancho Ekvott who admitted this senior citizen to the Grace Cardiac Hospital and nor permission given by the family and put at the IPA PROVEDORIA Govt run shelters meant for abandoned senior citizens which is also a death trap for senior citizens due to violation of the Human Rights. Goa Citizens Welfare Trust, Dadleancho Ekvott who were authorised by the family of the senior citizen and knowing the condition and negligence by the provedoria staff and management and before this poor senior citizen could get infected as he was just operated, the NGO immediately applied to the PROVEDORIA with authority from the senior citizens family to discharge their father and handing over to the NGO. The reply from the management of IPA provedoria was that they would not be able to discharge the senior citizen through our NGO and that since the Police had admitted him that they would hand over this senior citizen either to the Margao town Police or his immediate family. Immediately our,NGO wrote to the SP South and PI of Margao town Police station requesting them to discharge this senior citizen from the provedoria which was unauthorised by the Family members and the PI mentioned that we would have to seek permission from the Collector South even though no permission was obtained from the Collector South to the Margao police at his time of wrongly discharging and admitting this senior citizen to the PROVEDORIA. Once again with constant pressure and concern from family, on the 28th we wrote a letter to the Collector seeking permission and explaining in detail of this unlawful discharge of this senior citizen from a private hospital. This heartless puppet of a Collector who was talking about procedures and delaying the discharge since the 28th endangering the condition of this senior citizen who was unlawfully discharged against his will and when we insisted on the NOC, and by mistake I tapped his table very lightly for which he objected to and immediately I apologised, but sincce he was being cornered he took this to his advantage and ordered the police constables to remove me and my members from his office. Tapping his table twice very lightly over and above apologising , this Collector from South was offended and by misusing his power ordered me out of his office. SO, what should the family members and the NGO who took all the pain in admitting the senior citizen in a private hospital without following proper procedures discharged this senior citizen and put him in the PROVEDORIA endangering his condition.
