In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Ephesians 6:16 Satan exists and this fact is a dark reality. He is constantly striving to distract all people from Jesus and His finished work. This includes Christians. Whenever he strikes with lies, there is one action that makes even his greatest attacks crumble in defeat: Faith. Whenever we hear something that ultimately distracts us from Jesus and who we are because of Him, it needs to be countered with faith in what is true. If we dont know Christ, it is faith in His finished work that will set us free. Satan may seem big and scary. But he is more akin to a small ant dancing in front of a bright light; he casts a mean shadow but is really a mere speck of sand.
