In aftermath of judgment pronounced in Nirbhaya case the phrase that is in vogue is “rarest of rare”. Kindly look at the below and think is this not rarest of rare? 1. We know that functionaries are making systematic loot of all resources, coal to spectrum, still we prefer to turn blind eyes. 2. We know that candidate contesting an election has shady past, still we elect them with huge margin. 3. Not feeling the pinch while splurging donation in places of worship but find it real waste when asked to follow the rule of, “charity begins at home”. 4. After more than 6 decades of independence, our farmers are committing suicide and children are dying of mal-nutrition. 5. Knowing that everything is staged and managed, still we throng into stadium to watch IPL and showing unbridled but insane passion for the same. 6. And last but not the least, some politicians have been booked for corruption charges and this we can say is is the classic example of “rarest of the rare”.
