In case youve never seen astroturfing before, this is what it looks like. The premise behind this video is a complete lie. FreedomWorks is - badly - describing unlimited bandwidth plans, not Net Neutrality. Netflix already pays per terabyte of bandwidth, meaning that yes, they absolutely pay more than a high school blog does. What Net Neutrality ACTUALLY does is prevent ISPs like Verizon, Time Warner Cable, et al from telling end users you are paying us for access to the internet AND telling sites on the internet you are paying us for access to our users - which, of course, inevitably means passing that extra cost, you guessed it, right back to the end users, who are now paying twice for the same thing. It also prevents ISPs like Verizon, Time Warner, AT&T, etc - all of whom have their own premium TV offerings - from artificially degrading performance from services such as Netflix, Hulu, et al that operate over the internet and thereby compete with those premium TV offerings the ISPs offer on an equal basis.
