In continuation of its drive against illegal construction, North Delhi Municipal Corporation demolished portions of 52 properties and sealed 2 properties falling in Rohini, City, Civil Line and S.P. Zones of NDMC. The action has been taken to check the tendency of unauthorized construction and to encourage them to construct buildings with due sanctioned plans. The demolition/sealing actions were carried out by Building Departments of the respective Zones with the help of local police.
