In december 2013, i applied through consulatancy for further studies abroad. They shortlisted Amity mauritius, and yes i also agreed as that came in.my budget and country was not that costly as compared to others. In janaury, i was happy that i am going abroad for better future. Around 22nd January 2014 i paid my 1 year fees. From this time my bad time started, as it march 3rd intake, i gave 1month notice period to my company in February 2014., i resigned from post of Asst. Manager in a very reputed company. As days was less i did shopping etc so that i shouldnt mess up anything at last moment. February : Days were less i kept waiting for visa,basically it was a VOA country so we needed just travel permission from Mauritius immigration. Days went on it was around 18th February when i.got a call & they told me to cancel the ticket. With heavy heart I asked them the reason They said there is some change in policies because of that but dont worry you will get that. Then came march i called them they said no reply from their side. Then i wrote a mail to Mauritius Amity they said classes e delayed and will start from 24th march 2014 and you can do for travel arrangements.. So again i booked ticket as she was the lady looking after visa. But when i didnt received Visa on 18th march i called my consulatncy they said they are not getting reply from immigration. I was actually sad and disheartened at that time because my hard earned money was getting wasted. Then they told ne to reschedule it for 27th March, and i did that. Mind it every rescheduling costed ne 9980/- Then again on 25th i didnt got my immigration letter i.asked them they said to postpone it. It was non refundable ticket so i.had to postpone it till may (to be on safer side) with a hope i.will get visa in a month. I.was completely unaware of thing which i am now going to tell. On 10th janaury 2014 Amity courses Territory Educational Council (T.E.C)accrediation was expired. This was the reason i was not getting visa and college people kept on blaming immigration authority and obviously if a course is not accredited why would embassy issue visa. I mailed them numerous time but no one is.responding, no one is.replying to my mail. I just asked them to refund my fees and pay me for financial damages which i faced because of them. They cheated me, since starting they never told me about accrediation, had i knew this early i.would have opted for some other college. My 4 months are wasted & i dont have any job now. Completely relying on my parents, never thought after doing bachelors degree + post graduation i will see this day. Do you think i deserve this. I.just trusted AMITY. I spent my hard earned saving for that course. I wanted to go abroad and study and work there so that i can.give my parents quality of life. Kindly help me and tell me what should i.do.
