In from K9s for Warriors ~ We wish to thank all of our supporters and friends of K9s For Warriors for their comments and help with our issue with Southwest Airlines that happened yesterday. Please know that K9s For Warriors abided by all proper rules, laws, documentation, courtesy, during the inappropriate incident that occurred at San. Fran Airport. When the SD and Handler arrived at Phoenix they were met by supervisors, which proceeded to expedite them to their next gate. Obviously the word had been received, and the rest of the trip was flawless. NOTE: On the first flight a stewardess apologized for the treatment our team received and was filing her own incident report against the Supervisor. We campaign HARD against "Fake Service" dogs, and go beyond what is needed and required to comply with any airline or public establishment. However, we will campaign just as hard for violation of rights, laws, and humiliation. Southwest has already taken notice, contacted us, and asked for our patience while they come to a resolve of this incident. We will do so. It will not be without a report to all agencies that govern the rights of service dogs, and the disabled. Thank you so much. The only way unfair treatment can be stopped is awareness.
