In hiring someone for a sales position I have always placed the emphasis of Experience as being secondary but not vital. I place of premium on being Interesting. I say that there are 3 levels of Interesting in no particular order. • Interesting to look at. • Interesting to listen to. • Interesting to learn from. Interesting to look at isn’t always beauty it could be the fact that they are 7 feet tall. Interesting to listen to may not me they have a great voice but the fact that there is excitement in their tone. Interesting to learn from may not me that they are brilliant but they speak with conviction. A strong candidate is someone who is 2 of 3 while you move heaven and earth for someone who is 3 for 3. Flip Side…..relationships Fade when there is a loss of Interest and All relationships Fade it just a matter of some do a better equipped to Refresh. So what do you do (despite the Experiences that you’ve shared) when you sense that your mate no longer sees you as a 2of3 or a 3for3….how do you/can you Refresh There is no Right answer just Your answer…I’m working on My answer
