In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. (NLT) ( Romans 12:6 ) Everyone has some awesome gifts that God has given to us. But like side-effects to medicine, gifts have associated habits or behaviors that may be distracting. You may have a talent to multi-task and juggle many things but that may come at a price of not being able to devote your complete attention on one person. Maybe your gift is carefully crafting your words when you speak to be respectful of others feelings. However, others may see you as being quiet or disinterested because of that. Keep this in mind the next time someones behavior bothers you. Be patient and understanding of those behaviors while honoring God for creating the awesome gifts they showcase.
