This song gave me a lot of opportunities as a writer when it was published. I wrote this song for my Mother when I was 8 years old believe it or not. Most people think its related to the typical Love Song format. Theres nothing wrong with that as all most songs are based on Love but this song was written as poetry for my Mom when I used to see my Step Father Beat Her over and over & over.
