In lieu of the humiliating behavior from some LSU fans toward our own players during last nights game, I think this is a great time to shed light on what it means to be a fan since obviously some people have been misled. Booing your own players does not classify you as a fan, it classifies you as CLASSLESS! I heard someone say Im not going to another LSU game because they are just going to lose and waste my time. WELL BYE WE DONT WANT YOU HERE ANYWAY. Dont let the noise from the 102,000 FANS scare you on your way out. Maybe youre such a new fan that a 2-9 and 5-6 season dont ring a bell to you. It may never rain in Death Valley, but fair-weather fans are still not welcome. A fan doesnt boo their teams players, belittle their teams coaches or EMBARRASS their University. You want to put on that uniform or throw on Les white hat? Go ahead, but I guarantee you it looks a lot better on them. If you dont agree, so be it, but please dont suit up in purple and gold or show up in Death Valley on Saturdays. Geaux Tigers, and as always, Forever LSU. Thats all from my yearly Facebook status.
