In light of Tonys post this morning (great show on Friday, by the way), I would like to try and post something to the group instead of forever lurking. This is my mongrel baritone and home-made AA864 Bassman (my pedalboard has changed a little, but its still basically tuner -> delay -> drive -> reverb -> tremolo). The guitar is a Profile (Japanese lawsuit Strat), two-piece alder (I think). I bought it for $20 from the classified section of the Brisbane street press from a guy that trashed the neck by attempting to re-radius it. I cut a piece of the headstock off to block the tremolo, donated the rest to a guitar shop for the apprentice to learn on, and bought a Warmoth baritone conversion neck. Its wired with a three-position Tele switch: 1) neck only, 2) neck and bridge, 3) bridge only. The middle pickup is switched on and off with a rotary switch where the bottom Tone knob should be, and the whole thing goes through a master Volume (A-250k) and Tone (A-250k/100nF). Its essentially cobbled together from pieces Ive ended up with (except the neck, which was bought specifically), and its my favourite guitar. I have guitars that should be ten times better, but I play one tenth as often.
