In light of recent negative attacks on Noah, WorldVision, and churches such as Bethel, its obvious that a lifetime Isaiah 58 fast from negativity is in order for men and women who call themselves Christian. A fast from malicious talk and accusation (v. 9), the type of fasting God has chosen, will bring light, answer to prayer, healing, joy, righteousness, glory, provision, restoration, and victory. Furthermore, Jesus own words were simply: DO NOT JUDGE. How can we righteously judge if we can never know all the facts? If we are going to authentically represent the one true God who IS love, we need to stop arguing and complaining, find the good in everything, and simply love God and love each other unconditionally...and let God, the only righteous judge, do the judging.
