In loving memory of Ali Akhlaghi. A doctor that I have known for almost 10 years and a waterbirth pioneer in Iran. He conducted a randomized controlled trial in Tehran and designed his own birth tub after our first meeting in Istanbul. He was killed in an auto accident on Saturday. May his memory and his legacy of introducing waterbirth in Iran bring a blessing to everyone. Im very sad for his family and the world. We lost a gentle soul.
