In memory of the loss of a comedian and actor Robin Williams...we come together to pray for his family and for the loss of this icon....I prayed and thought of what I might say tonight on this subject and as I often have an odd sense of humor it was thought I may say something of a lighter sense.....this was a man who brought decades of smiles and laughter to millions of fans but also had a much deeper side to his persona in many of his roles...I read a story today telling of Robin and Christopher Reeve (another wonderful iconic actor) he and Robin were roommates at Julliard and when Christopher was in hospital shortly after his tragic injury....Mr Williams bounced in his room fully garbed in surgical ward rope and with a Russian accent proudly announced that he was there to complete a rectal exam....Christopher Reeve later reported this to be the point in which he knew no matter what happened it would be ok and that it was the first humor laughter or smile hed had since his accident a few days previous!!! He gave hope and humor to many and in his darkest moment I pray God was with him and I pray that a grand celebration took place with many smiles and much joyous laughter back to Mr Williams as he entered Gods kingdom of heaven to dwell with him eternally....it is not for us to judge on if Robin took his own life yesterday but my belief is that even if its found to be factual that even in the last spilt second of life one can be saved....I pray and believe heaven is a happier funny perfectly joyous place that can only be better with the addition if this wonderful soul dwelling there....may the family of Robin Williams be blessed with comfort in this sad time. Amen
