In my house watching the game on mute and listening to my gospel music. Order my steps is playing and I remember my aunt Pertha singing this song with the choir at Randall Chapel and I must say I miss my family and the singing that went on at Randall Chapel when I was a kid. I mean I have some amazing singers in my family and I am truly blessed to have grown up listening to their talents that God has given them. I happy I was raised in the church although when I was younger I only loved the music but as I grew I understood the word. I just miss being in that environment. Because when I look back we had CHURCH and I loved every moment of it. They used to tease me as kid because I used to sit in the front with my tambourine and knew every song by the introduction. I miss hearing aunt Annette Reeder, Aunt Katherine Saunders aunt Dee Dee, Aunt Emma Steele my grandma Alma J French aunt Ronda and so many more singing! Aunt Niaomi (playing the piano), Lester Wormley playing the organ, Reggie and Uncle Eddie playing the drums, and my godfather Tim Danzey playing the bongos. Just reminiscing! I want to go to a church that reminds me of my childhood!
