In my line of work, you see loss so much you become desensitized to it. I guess its a bit hard not to get attached when youve worked with a resident for 7 years. I saw her hit a milestone at 100, and further more at 105. At 106, you imagine it would just keep going. I guess Im conflicted because I know that this is just the natural progression of life, but I will miss her presence terribly. I hope she has found her inner peace. Only a few co-workers will truly understand this, but stay gangster SB!
