In my meditation, I considered the likelihood of an average individual experiencing a true miracle and then considered that most of us have suffered traumatic losses of epic proportions,been used and abused, used and abused others, experienced natural disasters that have caused the loss of life, seen things that we were never meant to witness, suffered heart wrenching losses due to gun violence, incurable illnesses, accidents on the highways/trains/planes/ships, heard about senseless killings in schools, by neighborhood watchmen, injustice all around the world etc., and yet we are able to maintain our sanity, hold on to hope for a better tomorrow, and find healing, love, and the strength to smile again. That, my brothers and sisters, is a miracle!
