In my own analysis l concluded that we dont have competent MPs in parliament and that parliament has been rendered useless as NRM caucus has replaced parliament, every bill or sensitive issue should go through NRM caucus meeting at state house. leaders cant stand firm on their positions but want to be directed by the president. any thing l hear caucus meeting about, l automatically loose confidence. for example the temangalo saga when they wanted to impeach MBABAZI, the oil bribes and the issue of authority as in awarding license and termination of oil contract, POMB, retabling of gay bill in parliament, chogm money and many more went through NRM Caucus meetings in state house. deputy speaker JACOB OLANYA was very right when he said our MPs lack research work when debating, that they just come and talk minus concrete backings. ofcourse they are after party and think majority in the party means party first and then the masses.
