In our misplaced understanding that if something is supposed to be fun, it must be fun for everyone, we make a certain kind of recreation compulsory for all. This puts stress on those people who don’t find it fun. For example, TV serials, movies, parties or social engagements may be fun for some but not for some others - or fun at sometimes but not at other times. If one has to compulsorily sit through something one does not enjoy, it becomes stressful. When we comply by the world and its dictates, it begins to dictate more and more until we are pushed against the wall.
