In recent days, I have had quite an unsettling time with a client - TopicsExpress

In recent days, I have had quite an unsettling time with a client and their understanding of salon policy so I wish at this time to clarify a few things which for the most part, are industry standards. First and foremost, it IS our desire to meet your needs. however you are one of several hundred people who desire to have us meet their needs, we do the very best we can. An understanding of this fact will take you further than other attitudes . We DO want to make you happy, that is why we do what we do... Our policy states that if, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied, reparations will be made WITHIN TWO WEEKS time, at no charge to you. Conditions apply (we will try to make sure you choose the right cut and/or color, and dont have buyers remorse) Inform your operator, of the need for adjustments to color or cut, as soon as you feel you need them, we will happily schedule you. No-Shows for free services (above) are subject to forfeiture and a nominal charge will be applied for the time you reserved. 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule is appreciated and accepted with grace. Last minute cancellations are up to your stylist to determine rescheduling. Remember we, as independent service providers, do not have a salary, or hourly wage, so the time you reserve is how we get paid (no work, no money) Please respect our work ethic, and we will happily serve you for years to come! If you arrive late enough to affect the appointments that follow your , you MAY be asked to rebook, we dont LIKE to do that, but if we must, we must. We DO reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If we feel we cannot meet your needs, we will tell you. Consultation is free, make sure we can provide you with the services you desire. We will refuse service before we will damage your hair (to give the color or texture you are trying to achieve), if we think it is unreasonable. We will refuse service to you if your demeanor, or demands affect the staff and other clients beyond what is socially acceptable. I state these facts in an effort to allow everyone to understand that we will not sacrifice our standards, or the well-being of clients and staff to facilitate unreasonable demands. I am not making a personal reference, but wish all my friends and clients to know that our focus is on the health, safety and happiness of EVERYONE who visits the salon. ! Thanks for your continued support. Joanne
