In reference to all the flack I took over not allowing rescue posts, I need to say a couple things. First off this post just proved to me again that people dont read all the way through a thread before jumping on the comment wagon. This group was never intended to be a breeders page, it was started for my Shade Tree Aussies customers. Read the About section of this page. Secondly, we do have a fund for Toy and Mini Aussies in need. In case you havent visited and read the rules to Skarlettes Fund please do so. I will provide a link at the end of this. Any time any of you would like to donate to a rescue please do so. However, Skarlettes Fund is again for dogs people own that they are not willing to give up. Thirdly, I said in one post on that excessive white puppy that we dont allow rescue posts here but if she wants to keep the puppy we will gladly help her with education and training tips, or who ever adopts her. However, if we allow those posts they will take over the page as there are a lot of dogs in need. Has anyone noticed that when a dog is posted as a rescue that dog will be seen on every Aussie page on Facebook. Most of us belong to more than one Aussie group so I know we all see them. If you own a Toy or Mini Aussie and have a problem or training issue or would like to share a cute picture of your Aussie - this is the page. There are a lot of really good trainers and breeders here that are always willing to help. We do allow breeders posts but if you read the rules we have really tightened down on them as well. We have some of the stiffest rules about breeders posts anywhere. This group should be about learning, sharing and enjoying our dogs. To all those that feel that our rules are to harsh or dont like the model of this group I am sure you can visit the other Aussies pages and find a home your comfortable with.
