There was an effort to blame her for the collision, by really ignorant people. Not any of them cyclists that I am aware of. Mostly just the ignorant motorists who as Luke Box pointed out assume you are going to stay in the bike lane no matter what. We have a problem with bike lanes not being built to NACTO guidelines and laws demanding cyclists use those bike lanes. We have self entitled motorists who scream at you to get in the bike lane whenever you try to keep yourself safe and avoid debri or any other road hazard.
