In regards to the Parsippany Troy-Hills School Districts Further motions to diminish our arts programs; I simply cannot fathom how a school district containing such artistically impassioned,dedicated, and talented students, as well as esteemed faculty members, continues to threaten what little means their arts programs are salvaging. Despite having to do so much with so little, sheer passion has enabled our arts programs to not only persist, but thrive. However, even the most immense passion will soon be deemed powerless if our already dwindling arts programs are taken away all together. With the seemingly constant threats being imposed on the arts by our school board, this dreadful fate seems to be becoming more realistic than ever, and that breaks my heart. Perhaps officials are failing to recognize the widespread significance of our arts programs. How this is possible, I am not sure, but it certainly is appalling. I plan to continue speaking out for the arts programs, which have given me opportunities, applicable knowledge, and means to self growth far greater than any other district-run program. I know that I am not the only one who feels this way, and I strongly encourage anyone that has the slightest concern for the well being of our education system to advocate for our arts programs as well.
