In relation to my Sin City style project (which is coming along nicely!) I decided to spend Friday afternoon in the studio, working on perfecting the lighting technique for this style of photography. This resulted in a quick shoot with my friend Megan, involving spotlights and a giant fan. However, I was quite proud of the end result, and I can honestly say these are some of my favourite portraits! (These have been edited using Photoshop with black and white filters for the noir effect, using the history brush to colour pop certain features, similar to Sin City. I also played around with the levels a little to get the right contrast between light and shadow.)
