In response to President Obamas recent announcement that he will delay administrative action on immigration reform, immigrant families and advocates will hold a rally on Friday, September 26th at 12 p.m., at the offices of U.S. Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley. We will ask Oregons U.S. Senators to join us in calling on President Obama to keep his promise by providing administrative relief and stopping deportations for thousands of immigrant families immediately. Friday, September 26, 2014 | 12:00pm Noon Justice Delayed is Justice Denied Rally for Administrative Relief & Ending Deportations for Immigrant Families Office of U.S. Senator Ron Wyden 911 NE 11th Ave. Portland, OR 97232 Participants to include immigrant families and supporters, Causa Oregon, Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste (Northwest Treeplanters and Farmworkers United) (PCUN), and Allies. We will meet at Senator Ron Wydens office at 12 Noon and then march to Senator Merkleys office. At each office, immigrant families and immigration reform advocates will meet with staff and deliver a letter asking the Senators to stand with us in calling on President Obama to take executive action. Both Senator Ron Wyden and Senator Jeff Merkley have been vocal supporters of immigration reform and keeping families together and they have both voted in support of legislation to reform our nations broken immigration system.
