In the Beginning By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. - Hebrews 11:3 Beliefs about origins always come down to faith. We were not there. We did not witness it. No human being was there. It cannot be repeated or observed. It cannot be tested by the scientific method. Evolutionist and creationist both have their beliefs based on faith. Evolutionist have long tired to have creationist labeled as unreasonable and narrow minded. Which is more reasonable? Each one of our cells contains more information than the Encyclopedia Britannica. Is it more reasonable that this information formed randomly or from an intelligent mind. Life begets life, as we see every single day. Is it reasonable that a true living God beget us in his image, or is it more reasonable that life came from non-life? With the probability of 1:10^125 for a single protein molecule to form on its own and you need between 300 and 500 for the simplest of cells, is it more reasonable that random chance did this not just once but innumerable times or is it more reasonable that they were placed together by the designer of the universe (statistical impossibility happens at 1:10^50)? My faith in the creation ultimately comes down to Jesus. There is a mountain of overwhelming proof that demonstrates Jesuss life, death, burial, and resurrection which proves his deity. He taught that there is one God who created the universe and everything in it in 6 days. He should know, after all, he was there in the beginning with God.
