In the Bible, Jesus says how his followers will be hated. His followers will be judged, and held to a higher standard. This is true. I find it frustrating that because I AM a christian, I am automatically expected to be PERFECT. Im NOT perfect, and i have emotions just like everyone else!! The difference is I TRY to control them and think before I speak or act. It is not always easy, and i do mess up and say things i shouldnt and do things I shouldnt. The DIFFERENCE is, after I feel convicted and WANT to keep from doing it again. I TRY to always do what is right, even when it is hard. So, if you want to label me a hypocrite because of this, then so be it. God knows my heart, and he knows the truth in my efforts and intentions. THAT is all that matters. End of story.
