In the Bible, anytime debt is mentioned it is in a negative light. The Bible gives explicit instructions regarding debt. Romans 13:8 says plainly that we are not to owe anyone anything other than to love them. In Proverbs it clearly says that the borrower is slave to the lender. God has never used debt to bless His people nor has he ever commanded anyone to enter into debt for any reason. Get out of the debt mindset. Free your mind and free your finances. Our God is a God of freedom - freedom from the debt of sin and freedom from debt in our financial lives.
