Write up on role of the Youth Introduction The world’s biggest power is the youth and the beauty of a woman. Youth is a joy, the little bird that has broken out of the eggs and is eagerly waiting to spread out its wings in the open sky of freedom and hope. Age considers; youth ventures. The search after the great men is the dream of youth and the most serious occupation of manhood. The duty of youth is to challenge corruption. Power of Youth Youth is the spring of life. Good habits formed at youth make all the difference. Youth is the age of discovery and dream. If the youth make up their mind, they can hold the political power in their hand. The youth gets together his materials to build a bridge to the moon, or perchance, a temple or a palace on the earth, and at length, the middle-aged man concludes to build a woodshed with them. The youth has the power to make Nigeria move from being a developing country to a developed nation. Youth is happy because it has the ability to see beauty. Bashfulness is an ornament to youth, but a reproach to old age. Youths dream, their dreams take them to stars and galaxies to the far corners of the unknown. In youth will learn; in age we understand. The youth of a nation are the trustees of posterity. Youth is a gift of nature. Youth are strong forces in social movement. The youth of Nigeria hopes for a world free of unemployment, poverty, Inequality and exploitation. They hope for a world free of discrimination on the ground of colour, religion, race, language and gender. No greater injury can be done to any youth than to let him feel that because he belongs to this or that race/religion/gender he will be advanced in life regardless of his own merits or efforts. Conclusion Our youth should learn to dream. Martin Luther said “I have a Dream”, if we don’t dream, we can accomplished nothing in life. Every youth owns it to himself and to the world to make the most possible out of the stuff that is in him. The youth is the best time to be rich, and the best time to be poor, the choice is yours. “Youth is like a fire It crept forward A spark at first Growing into a flame The brightening into a blaze “.
