In the midst of my celebrating for my birthday and because my daughter does not like to be on Facebook. I forgot to send a shout out to my daughter Cortney for her birthday. Even though I tried really hard to have her on my birthday she decided to have her own. So after a long day of labor in the wee hours of the morning on September 20 1985 my beautiful bundle of joy entered into this world. After 2 days she got sick and couldnt go home. After 30 days of praying and her fighting to survive, we left that hospital and never looked back. God had a purpose for her life and left her here on this earth to fulfill it. I thank God that he did not find it robbery to leave my angel here with me. She has certainly become an phenomenal woman. And is faighfully striving to be the best she can be. I am so proud of the woman she has become. And everyday I am thankful that God keep giving her another chance to get it right. So, Happy 29th Brthday Cortney Surrency.
