In the past five months I have learned that love is simple if we simply love. The greatest gift she gives me is letting me be myself. The greatest gift I give myself is letting her be herself. I have heard that love takes work but I have found that loving her is quite effortless. We have shared so many first times together. The first kiss. The first dance. The first laugh. The first sleep. The first awakening. The first whisper. The first day together. The first night together. If we live day by day then every day is the first of everything. We teach each other simply by walking hand in hand through our lives, together or apart. The lessons are simple and blessed. They are welcomed. As is she.
