In these days, when I hear the lamentos about this oh so annoying Europe, I have to think of these impressive interactive photos taken by #Reuters photographer Chris Helgren. And then I know what we all need Europe for, and that a weak Euro may be a burden or Euro-Bonds may put economic stability at risk, but as well, why all these are minor sins compared to what these pictures show - especially on the left side. We must not forget that a peacfully united Europe is maybe the greatest achievements our nations have reached in the past century that has brought us two World Wars and millions of deaths and unbelievable and unforgetable horror. And then? It has been a pleasure and an honour to be working on securing peace with so many of you from so many countries that had been at war with Germany when the photos were taken. #70years reuters/interactives/dday-then-and-now
