In this world there are going to be troubles, it is inevitable. But God is omniscient and He knows every situation you will encounter. He even knows how you will respond in the midst of those circumstances. You must rely on His grace in these difficult times. God wants you to know that you can depend upon Him. He is the only solid foundation that will not shift under the weight of your circumstances. So, when the rains come down, when the streams rise, and the wind blows and beat against you, remember that you are in Christ. Remember, if you are trusting and relying on Christ, you are like the wise man who built his house upon the rock. It did not fall because its foundation was on the solid rock, and that rock is Jesus Christ!
