United Airways to launch service to Karachi, Doha and Singapore: United Airways (Bangladesh) plans to launch service to Karachi, Doha and Singapore at the end of Oct-2013, coinciding with the commencement of the winter 2012/2013 schedule. United Airways AGM marketing Kamrul Islam said, “We will operate three flights per week to these three new destinations. We have already acquired a MD-83 aircraft having a capacity of fly 167 passengers...We planned to operate Karachi and Doha with the same flight from Chittagong, connecting Dhaka and Singapore will be operated from Dhaka”. The carrier took delivery of the aircraft on 13-Sep-2013. Source: bdnews24
